Professor Ketikidis, BSc, MSc, PhD, has over 35+ years of experience in management, education, innovation, and entrepreneurship. His professional journey spans public and private sectors, with a strong international footprint and extensive networks. Throughout his career, Prof. Ketikidis has held several leadership roles in both for-profit and non-profit organizations, advancing the knowledge triangle (research, business, education) to drive innovation and regional transformation. He actively contributes to policy design and the development of innovation ecosystems through the following roles:
- Member of the Education, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Committee of the Hellenic- American Chamber of Commerce (2015–present), promoting synergies between academia, business, and policy.
- President, Board of Directors – Thessaloniki Innovation Zone (TIZ), building synergies between academia, business & government.
- Chairperson, South East European Research Centre (SEERC), building knowledge capacity in the South East Europe and beyond.
- Founding Member and current President of HeBAN – Hellenic Business Angels Network (2015–present), actively supporting early-stage investment and entrepreneurial growth in Greece.
- Board Member of EBAN (European Business Angels Network, Brussels – (2018 to present), contributing to the development of the early-stage investment landscape across Europe.
- Member of the National Council for Research, Technology and Innovation (NCRTI)
- Former Executive Board Member of the International Triple Helix Association (a Stanford University spin-off dedicated to advancing university–industry–government collaboration), where he also founded and leads the Triple Helix Association of Greece, driving knowledge triangle initiatives across Southeast Europe & beyond.
He holds a BSc and MSc from institutions in the United States and earned his PhD in the United Kingdom.
